Destiny 2’s gameplay was lovely, a honed version of what I remembered and enjoyed from my many many hours in Destiny 1. Its environments struck me though. Maybe it was my memories from Destiny 1 and seeing the chaos and destruction of those places in Destiny 2. A place of hope turned inside out by the Cabal. An offense to my memories, now forcing me to hyperfocus on these places I took for granted in Destiny 1. To see them in a new light, and appreciate their beauty.
